Description

Site launched September 15, 2008, after 16 months of planning, server staging and design.

Modules used

A multisite install (we will begin hosting sites for the libraries in our library district shortly) of 5.x We are planning a migration to 6 very soon. "Major" (as in important) modules include:

  • Panels2
  • Views
  • CCK
  • Date/Calendar
  • Imagecache
  • Workflow-NG
  • Nodequeue
  • Aggregation

Others include memcache and advanced cache, service links, share, forward, pathauto, sitemap and xmlsitemap, nodecarousel, imagefield gallery, glossary, lightbox 2, . . .

Thanks to the Cleveland Public Libraries for the code on their customized multi-site search module (presently only using it for the radio-button toggle).

The theme is a customization from the Zen theme.

(Near) future plans for the site include librarian blogs, podcasting, and some OPAC integration (book reviews, possibly free-tagging).. Would love to integrate patron authentication between the site and the OPAC too---hoping for SIP as our best option.
