DSpace and Drupal

Anyone who's interested in both Drupal and DSpace have probably already seen this, but there is a discussion about integration between DSpace and Joomla! and Drupal going on over at the DSpace General email list archives.

I have searched for updates on this and can't find any. Is there anyone that can give an update on this venture?

Check the Issues section of OAI PMH module (http://drupal.org/project/oai_pmh), you will find this issue http://drupal.org/node/466852 regarding a very promising Drupal 6 extended version of the module developed by Oriol Rico Millán at University of Catalonia.
