Homebox provides a user 'dashboard' - same module used on the new drupal.org website
Image Resize Filter allows staff to resize images in content - creates a new image with those dimensions. We were having issues with giant images with forced smaller dimensions. This eliminates that problem. It also has a perk of doing the same thing for remote images and saving them locally. No more broken images weeks later!
Nodequeue used for the upcoming events on the front page
Panels the front page uses panels to layout content
Print allows a print version of each page. also has the ability to email pages
Quick Tabs I had a difficult time trying to find a way to show a lot of content in a small space. This worked perfectly for that. In use on the front page, as well as the books dvd's and more page for the catalog search.
I'll second the "very very nice website" comment. Just curious, did you start from D7 or did you move an existing D6 site into D7? We're starting a Drupal7 site from scratch and its good to see that it can be done and done well ;)
I actually started with Drupal 5. With each version of Drupal, I redo the theme. Since I started the site, and I've learned much over the years about Drupal, I found it better this time to start from scratch. So, to be honest, I'm not sure how well upgrading from 6 to 7 would go.
I am just starting with Drupal 7. Using some of the modules that you sused: views, panels, calendar, Date, etc. But I am having a difficult time with these modules: encounter a lot of bugs, errors. And the dev site is very slow ( running on IIS). Did these ever happen to you when you develope the site in Drupal 7? Which view&panels version do you use?
Could you share some expereince in using Drupal 7? Much appreciated!
I use the latest dev versions of those modules. I have noticed in the past that IIS is very slow. At least when it comes to drupal. Which is why I started using linux years ago. Let me know if you have any specific questions I can help you with.
