Alas, it's not clear from the documentation but none of the CCK fields show up in RSS feeds. The only thing that shows up using the built-in configuration is the non-cck parts of a node, namely Title and Body.

One alternative is to use Contemplate though you're limited to one View and one View only. I naturally had two: a "normal" one for RSS Readers and a short one with just title and thumbnail image that people could put on their sites like a widget.

Now it seems the only option for No. 2 is to pull out the information directly using SQL and add formatting tags to it.

So yuck.
